Information Technology Minor

The information technology minor is intended for students in any major who wish to achieve knowledge in information technology. The tech courses in the minor are designed for students to tailor content and focus activities to their own area of study or interest. Students must complete 18 hours in this curriculum: twelve hours of required technology courses, three hours selected from the menu of approved courses, and three hours in a directed technology project in the area of their choice. The directed research course is taken last and involves original research and/or technology implementation. A generic template appropriate for TECH 4900 in any topic area is available from the division director.
