Criminal Justice Minor
The criminal justice minor is designed to provide students with an overview of law enforcement policies and procedures.
This course of study includes coverage of criminal procedure and the rights of the accused, civil rights of prisoners,
rights and responsibilities of law enforcement officers, and the administration of criminal justice organizations. This
minor is recommended for students interested in criminology, criminal defense or prosecution, or other law enforcement-related
fields. The criminal justice minor provides perspectives of the criminal justice system from the psychological, legal,
law enforcement, and correctional perspectives. Some minor courses are offered only in the evening or on weekends. Students
