LESS TIME IN OUR CLASSROOMS. MORE TIME CREATING YOURS

Great teachers have the power to inspire generations of students and make their mark on the world through their creativity, passion and ability to connect with people. The Abraham S. Fischler College of Education and School of Criminal Justice at NSU has developed a unique Premier Program to shape aspiring educators into expert teachers.

The Fischler Academy, located at our Fort Lauderdale campus, culminates with a full-time teaching position in a Florida school while The NSU Teaching Academy is exclusive to education students at our Tampa Bay Regional Campus. As a Tampa Bay student, you’ll receive a job offer in the Pinellas County School District.

Teacher preparation programs are so important because students in the 21st-century classroom require a different type of teacher—not somebody who's simply a content expert.
