From punctuality to posture, these etiquette tips will help you show your best self at Shark Preview.
- Be on time — or better yet, a few minutes early.
- Maintain eye contact with your interviewer to show confidence and engagement.
- Sit up straight. Good posture shows you’re attentive and professional.
- For virtual interviews: Test your technology ahead of time, use a clean/neutral background, and mute your microphone when others are speaking.
- Always thank your interviewer(s) for their time and consideration. Follow up with a brief thank-you email or note within 1–2 days of your interview.
Interview Attire
Dress for success — even for virtual interviews. We recommend business professional attire to show that you’re prepared and serious about the opportunity. When in doubt, it’s always better to be slightly overdressed than underdressed.
