Dual Admission
Reserve your seat in one of NSU’s graduate or professional schools while you earn your bachelor’s degree. If you’re laser-focused on your future, a Dual Admission program gives you a head start.
Huizenga Business Innovation Academy
Build your own business on campus—while earning a bachelor’s and an M.B.A. in four years. Tap into a state-of-the-art makerspace in one of the most start-up friendly regions in the country. Network and build real-world skills to kick-start your entrepreneurial adventure.
Hochberg-Miniaci Razor's Edge Scholars
Dive deep into what you love with hands-on learning experiences in a residential program. Hochberg-Miniaci Razor's Edge Scholars go beyond the classroom through innovative co-curricular projects and opportunities. These programs are a perfect complement to any career path, including health professions, technology, education, business, the arts, and beyond. Students within the Hochberg-Miniaci Razor's Edge program are required to live on campus during their freshman and sophomore year, but are given the option to opt-out of university housing during their junior and senior year.
Fischler Academy
Inspire the next generation and go from class to career. Aspiring teachers will graduate with a bachelor’s and a master’s and be ready for a guaranteed job offer in a Florida school. Get hands-on in the classroom early, learn cutting-edge strategies, have the option to travel abroad and study international education, and build confidence with dedicated mentors.
Presidential Scholars
The top incoming freshmen admitted to NSU will be invited to campus to interview for this scholarship program. Accepted students can receive an award for full tuition. Huizenga Business Innovation Academy
Graduate from this program and get the chance to apply for up to $20,000 in seed funding from NSU to start your own business. You’ll earn a bachelor’s degree and an M.B.A. in four years as you sharpen your skills through an internship, develop a business plan and operate a student-run business. Fischler Academy

By the end of the weekend, most visiting students don’t want to leave. This is more than a college visit—it’s an experience.
Shark Preview Weekend is a chance for admitted students to get to know NSU—and for us to get to know you. Premier Program applicants and their families are invited to visit for the weekend and experience what it’s like to be a Shark Family on campus.
During this exclusive event, you’ll meet with professors, attend campus events with student leaders and get to know other admitted students from all over the world. You’ll get a head start on learning your way around campus and building connections with other talented students who share your drive and passion.

Here’s how to apply.
After you’ve decided which Premier Programs interest you, applying is as easy as 1-2-3.
You can apply for just about any combination of the following Premier Programs:
• Dual Admission
• The Fischler Academy of Education
• Huizenga Business Innovation Academy
• Razor’s Edge Scholars
You may apply to any two Hochberg-Miniaci Razor’s Edge Scholars Programs. Options include Global, Leadership, Research, Shark Talent, and Shark Teach. You will be guaranteed an interview for your first choice Razor's Edge Scholars program and given your second choice interview based on availability.
You may apply for and be admitted into only one Dual Admission program for your first semester. Each program is unique and has its own eligibility requirements.
