Thank you for your continued interest in NSU Florida. You have been placed on the waitlist for admission for Fall 2025.
Below are some frequently asked questions about the waitlist.
The members of our Admission Committee have conducted a thorough review of your application and all supporting materials. This year, we expect approximately 18,000 students to apply in the freshman class, making it the most selective year in NSU Florida's history.
NSU Florida does not rank the order of the applicants on the waitlist and it is impossible to predict how many students will choose to remain active on it. To accept or decline the waitlist, please contact your admissions counselor. Students who have indicated they want to remain on the waitlist will be reviewed for admission should vacancies occur in the freshman class. In past years, some of the applicants on the waitlist were offered admission to the University. However, in other years the list was not used at all.
In the event that spaces become available in the freshman class, the undergraduate Admission Committee will review the files of those students who have expressed desire to remain on the waitlist and offer admission based on institutional needs.
Should vacancies occur in the freshman class, the Admission Committee will continuously review students who have indicated their desire to remain on the waitlist and you will be notified as soon as possible as to your status.
If NSU is your first choice, please let us know. You may also submit additional information (new grades, new test scores, awards won, etc.) for the Admission Committee to review. Please contact your admissions counselor with any questions or updated files for us to review.
All students who are admitted for the Fall 2025 freshman class will have the option to apply for financial aid and attend orientation. Housing is available on a first-come, first-served basis and may be unavailable at the time the waitlist students are offered admission.
