PACK YOUR FLIP-FLOPS AND SHORTS FOR THE WINTER
Once you set foot on Nova Southeastern University's campus, you’ll see how it can be easily mistaken for a resort. Sunbathing, bike riding, fishing, boating, and surfing are minutes away from your new home away from home. Enjoy the best Fort Lauderdale has to offer, from world-class food to the best in arts and entertainment—restaurants, festivals, concerts, shopping malls, and boutiques are within your reach.
And the beaches. Don’t forget the beaches.

Employment Opportunities
Continue your life journey in Florida after you graduate! Graduates have landed high-profile internships and jobs at local companies and organizations, such as the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, The Walt Disney Company, and Zoo Miami. It’s no surprise that Sharks are often at the top of the list of candidates.
Connect with the Center for Academic and Professional Success (CAPS)
CAPS is dedicated to supporting Sharks as they prepare for a post-college career. As an NSU student, you’ll be partnered with a career and academic success coach—also known as an “Edge Advisor”—who will guide you throughout your college journey.
Career Fairs
Every semester, CAPS hosts a career fair called Recruit a Shark, during which you can connect with local employers to find jobs, internships, volunteer opportunities, and more.
